Bio: 

Kara S. Rice is a self-taught visual artist located in Washington, DC. Art has always been a part of her life in one form or another. Rice’s passion for painting in particular grew and matured in the spring of 2013, which is the year she completed her first painting. She expresses vulnerable thoughts, feelings, and emotions that she has personally encountered and wishes to encounter in life through her art. Rice views herself as a vessel, letting the art take control of what needs to be created.
